Before joining SARC in October 2020, Steven served as president and COO of Addario Lung Cancer Medical Institute and executive director of the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium. He has extensive leadership experience in domestic and international oncology research organizations, having facilitated the development and launch of an innovative, precision medicine/genomics study for rare cancer patients, including sarcomas.
Steven held prior relevant leadership roles including directorships of the Clinical Research Centers at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as well as Cornell University Medical College. SARC (Sarcoma Alliance for Research through Collaboration) is a U.S.-based nonprofit cancer research organization dedicated to the development and support of research for the prevention, treatment, and cure of sarcoma – a cancer of the bone and connective tissues of the body.
