Jedi Rare Cancer Foundation Chairman and Founder

The Jedi Rare Cancer Foundation was founded in 2021 by Mark and his wife Linda in memory of their son Jed Ian, who died at 39 from a rare cancer in 2017. Through its partnership with Case Comprehensive Cancer Center’s CURE: The Rare Cancer Initiative, the foundation has committed to raise $5M dollars to launch this $12M-dollar initiative driving transformative research that brings new hope to rare cancer patients and their families.

Mark has extensive business management experience, having served as Executive VP of Marketing at Seagram and CEO of Positive Promotions and BeneStream. In 2024, he co-founded the national Alliance for Rare Cancers (ARC) to align leaders in government, academia, philanthropy, and patient advocacy in a coordinated, galvanized effort to defeat rare cancer as we know it.
